We’re honoured to have been part of so many unforgettable mountain celebrations.
Stunning Mountain Retreat Wedding
We had an amazing experience with Teha and the team at Mount Norquay as our wedding venue. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Most of our guests came from out of province, so we wanted a venue that had some amazing Alberta Rocky Mountain charm.

TraceyHighlight of our trip Our 4-hour Via Ferrata climb was an absolute highlight of our trip, made truly unforgettable by our phenomenal guide, “Big Rock”! Scaling the cliffs and crossing the suspension bridges offered an incredible alpine thrill with jaw-dropping views of Banff, but it was Big Rock’s perfect blend of expertise, humor, and encouragement that made us feel completely confident and secure every step of the way. The four-hour route was the ideal pace—challenging enough to give us an amazing adrenaline rush, yet leaving us energized rather than exhausted. If you want a personal, breathtaking Rocky Mountain adventure, book this tour and cross your fingers that you get Big Rock as your guide!VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
Sibylle HNoch mal!!! Es war unsere erste, aber bestimmt nicht die letzte Klettersteigerfahrung. Kevin hat uns sehr ruhig und souverän durch das Gelände geführt. So konnten wir die Herausforderung und die Aussichten voll und ganz genießen.VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
Taylor WMust do in Banff! Incredible experience. Ben and Brandon were amazing guides and we had a blast. The views didn’t even feel real!!VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
Alex GAmazing via ferrata experience Decided to do the 4.5h skyline route on a cloudy, rainy day and was amazing. The climbing starts at the top of the chairlift, which is above the layer of low-level clouds. It's not too difficult but long and you get stunning views of all the mountains as you hang off the cliff face. There's a suspension bridge and wire crossing too. Our guide Ben was amazing too, very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!VerifiedPosted on Wedding Wire![]()
MandyThank you, Norquay I can't believe it has already been over a week since we got married at Norquay. Teha, Karty and team, what can I say... having a big wedding was never my dream. I chose to have a big wedding because it was important to my fiance that his family all have the opportunity to come and celebrate with us. All the work you put in - the quick and consistent (but not irritating) communication, the support when it came to our set up and take down (and flexibility on timing for both days), your ability to work with us on personalizing our menu, on helping with transportation needs and all sorts of other questions... you made it feel like it was something I wanted all along. The ceremony and reception at Norquay flew by. It gave us exactly what we needed - a quieter space, away from the stares of tourists, during the busiest season in Banff. Both the ceremony location and Kika's were absolutely beautiful. And, as promised by Teha, we received so many compliments about the food. Most importantly, we had a few guests with very severe allergies - and they were so well taken care of by your team. All this in addition to the fact that you were a super affordable choice. I don't plan on getting married again but if I did, I would be reaching out to Norquay.VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
CampostinaInexpensive way to incredible views of the Banff valley If you’re going for the sightseeing and incredible views of the valley, this is a lower cost way to do it (vs Banff Gondola). They pick up and drop off in downtown Banff so it’s super convenient. Ski resort is on the older side but not an issue if you’re just going to the chairlift ride and views. We were going to see wildlife but didn’t spot any.VerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

Relax33488599635We love Zach and Via Ferreta We had such a blast doing the Explorer tour with Zach. We did it over a week ago and still find ourselves talking about how great Zach was. The climbing felt scary at times but Zach made us very comfortable. The views were great, the Zach was even better. From his expertise, to his jokes, and even a little bit of hand holding for the scary parts, Zach was personable, professional, and charming. Give that man a raise! - Maxwell + GopikaVerifiedPosted on Tripadvisor![]()
Diane DDon’t miss this! I was hesitant to do this (I’m 73), but I was talked into it. Sooo glad I did. It was a bit challenging at times but overall amazing and thrilling! Our guide, Paul, was fantastic and made the excursion an experience if a lifetime! Do it!!! Now!!!!
