Ski Big 3

3 Resorts, 8,000 Acres of Terrain, 1 Must-Ski Destination.

Welcome to Canada’s Original Ski Town, A Skier’s Playground in the Wilderness of a National Park.

Planning a ski vacation?  You’ve come to the right place.

We have to say, we’re in some pretty outstanding company.  A short drive from Norquay, skiers will discover the diverse, high-elevation mountain terrain of Sunshine Village and The Lake Louise Ski Resort.  That’s three resorts to tick off your bucket-list, within our protected National Park (also a UNESCO World Heritage Site).  That’s 8,000 combined acres to explore, 2 gondolas, 26 chairlifts and 30 feet of feather-light, dry Canadian Rockies powder annually.

Blend Canadiana charm, National Park history, Rocky Mountain wildlife, rugged peaks, friendly residents and unbeatable beauty, with some of North America’s premium resort skiing.  Experience authentic, deep-rooted ski culture and après with the locals, or spend an evening in the quieter hamlet of iconic Lake Louise.

Take a rest day and get out exploring the area on XC skis, snowshoes, or by dog sled (that’s highly recommended).  Get your foodie fix at one (or many) of Banff National park’s eateries; from fine-dining to casual lunch options.  Taste a local take on Canada staples such as poutine, and the traditional fondue menu is always worth the calories.  You’re in prime Alberta beef country here, and we have the steakhouses to prove it.

Rest adventured-out bodies in one of the Park’s many lodges, historic hotels, and cabin-style accommodations.  From the fairytale-style Fairmont Banff Springs to the more rustic, choose where you want to end your action-packed days.
