2024 is Bringing Slope-Soaked Fun at Mt. Norquay!

2024 is almost here and Norquay has a number of awesome events coming up!  We’ve got the Beach Party, featuring the legendary “unofficial host” Mountain Joe, the eco-friendly Cool2Carpool initiative, and the adrenaline-pumping Masters Beer League Racing on select Friday nights!

January 5th – Beach Party with Mountain Joe: Surf’s Up on the Snowy Slopes!

If you thought beaches were reserved for summer, think again! Mount Norquay breaks the winter monotony with its annual Beach Party, and at the heart of this celebration is none other than the legendary host, “Mountain Joe”. Picture sandy slopes, beach balls bouncing off powdery snow, and Hawaiian shirts amidst the snow-covered peaks. Mountain Joe brings his infectious energy to the mountain, transforming the chilly atmosphere into a tropical winter wonderland. It’s a day of laid-back fun, laughter, and the perfect blend of summer vibes and snowy slopes.

January 10th – Cool2Carpool: Driving Toward a Greener Future, One Ride at a Time.

Beyond the thrills of the slopes, Mount Norquay is committed to preserving the pristine beauty of the Rockies. Enter Cool2Carpool, an eco-friendly initiative that encourages visitors to share rides to the mountain. By reducing carbon footprints and fostering a sense of community, Cool2Carpool is making waves in the world of eco-conscious winter adventures. So, hop in, share the ride, and be a part of a movement that values adventure while respecting Mother Nature.  You can split the cost of a $124 lift ticket by all the legally seated occupants of your vehicle!

January 12th & 26th – Masters Beer League Racing: Where the Slopes Meet Suds.

For those seeking an adrenaline kick, the Masters Beer League Racing at Mount Norquay is the perfect blend of speed, skill, and socializing. This thrilling race down Norquay’s slopes welcomes participants of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. After carving up the snow, competitors come together for a post-race celebration featuring local craft brews, sponsored by Banff Ave Brewing.
